Hello peeps,
Finally got round to giving colour to lineart which I had drawn out about a year ago. This is the result!

What do you think?

I'm decently happy with it...my first proper piece using Copic Markers - I've fallen in love with them! Addicted to buying them, my collection of colours has now hit about 55 in total. I'd recommend giving them a try - they are a little pricey but also refillable which means that they're a pretty good investment in my opinion. You do need to use quite a thick paper with them, otherwise the ink bleeds and warps the surface. But other than that it's just a matter of trying them out and off you go!

Also, the usual protocol applies to my artwork - please don't attempt to use or copy it without first getting direct permission from me!

I'm so very tempted to whip up a Harry Potter themed picture next! JK Rowling fangirl: guilty.

This is where I am staying at the moment. It's so beautiful I'll just need to post a proper entry about it sometime, but for now this is a sneak preview of Scotland through my eyes!

swallow birds

Hello again, 


I've finally whipped up a new title banner for the top of this blog, as well as a matching one for the online shop! 


I have a soft spot for swallows, as far as birds go. This one's been painted traditionally using ink and watercolours, and then I worked some photoshop magic on it. Voila!

Where's the sunshine gone? 
It's gloomy and raining, but the air smells of wonderful soil and damp and spring!
Though I would like it to be sunny, if it was I could run around on the beach and go out rollerblading to soak up some rays.

In other news, I'm off to Scotland on Thursday. Time for an adventure, I dare say.

Hello,

On a happy note, I've finally begun setting up my handmade crafts Shop-blog with some items for sale and such. Take a look, yes?
I've also received my exam results and it looks like I'm all set to attend Uni next autumn. Quite relieved about that.
